In 1949, English comedian Richard Hearne recorded this explainer to teach people how best to prevent the spread of influenza. The decades-old advice from the actor best remembered for his character “Mr Pastry”, is still useful today alongside lockdowns and stay-at-home orders being imposed around the world to fight the Covid-19 pandemic which is also caused by a coronavirus.
