Madras High Court, on Thursday, asked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to respond to a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking cancellation of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.The PIL was filed by advocate G Alex Benziger and it stated that the virus was spreading all over the world rapidly and creating a huge epidemic disaster.
मद्रास हाईकोर्ट ने कोरोना वायरस के कारण इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग को रद करने को लेकर भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड से 23 मार्च तक जवाब मांगा है। कोर्ट ने केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय को भी नोटिस जारी किया है। याचिकाकर्ता ने कोरोना वायरस प्रकोप के कारण केंद्र से बीसीसीआइ को 29 मार्च से 24 मई तक आईपीएल मैचों के संचालन की अनुमति नहीं देने के लिए निर्देश देने की मांग की है।
