Myanmar’s last generation of tattooed headhunting Naga warriors

The Naga people consist of dozens of tribes in an isolated region of northwestern Myanmar as well as northeastern India. They are known for their warrior traditions including headhunting in the past, as well as the tattoos once common on faces in Naga villages. Fewer and fewer younger people are willing to get the imprints on their skin, but few seem concerned that the Naga tradition could soon be lost forever.
