Eléonore Laloux is the first candidate with Down Syndrome to stand for municipal elections in France, after being approached by Arras mayor Frédéric Leturque. Committed to cleanliness and accessibility in her city, Laloux has fought for years for people with Down Syndrome and other disabilities to be able to live happier and more productive lives as fully integrated members of society.
