Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and her team of Secretaries with other senior ministry officials will hold the “Halwa” ceremony for Budget 2020 on Jan 20. The Halwa ceremony has been a long standing tradition of the finance ministry that marks the beginning of the printing of the Budget.
