The Basilica of San Nicola is a place of Catholic worship in Trapani. The protobasilica is located in via Carreca and via Barone Sieri Pepoli, in the neighborhood of the same name near the Lungomare Dante Alighieri and on the Via Garibaldi central, the former Rua Nuova.
The Church has undergone several influences in the course of history:
