The Indian National Congress (INC) celebrated its 135th foundation day on December 28 at the party headquarters in the national capital. Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi hoisted tricolour at party office. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also reached there to celebrate party's Foundation Day. Congress party traced its foundation to December 28, 1885. The first Congress session was held then in Bombay. Former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh and senior Congress leaders including Motilal Vora, AK Antony also arrived at the party headquarters to celebrate the day.
