Lakhs of protestors have been protesting at Delhi's Shaheen Bagh for almost a week. Some have been sitting on a hunger strike too. The Wire's Akhil Kumar spoke to the women at the forefront of these protests. Homemakers and first-time protestors told The Wire that they fear for the future of their children in a world post NRC and CAA. They say that they will all be left scrambling for documents that prove their citizenship to the State and that's why this Act must go.
