Hong Kong police carried out a rare demonstration of the explosive triacetone triperoxide (TATP) on December 6, 2019. Officers say they seized small amounts of the volatile home-made explosive and made several related arrests in recent months amid Hong Kong’s ongoing civil unrest which has included violent clashes between police and protesters.
