Sniffer dogs on a life-or-death mission to find explosives in Afghan capital Kabul

At the Mine Detection Centre in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul, dogs are trained to detect explosives, bombs and hidden mines. Handlers spend two years training the animals before they are deployed to work at checkpoints and government facilities to tackle bomb smuggling in the country.
