Shola :
Ingredients: Mince ½ kg White lentil ½ cup Whole all spice 1 tbsp Rice ½ cup Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp Turmeric ½ tsp Red chili powder 1tsp Spinach ½ cup Red chili flakes 1tsp Fenugreek leaves 1cup Coriander powder 1tbsp Dill 1 bunch Green chilies 8-9 Oil ½ cup Green coriander 1 bunch Onion 1 Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Method: Heat oil and fry onion till golden. Cook mince with whole all spice. Then add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, red chili flakes, and coriander powder and cook well. Now add lentil, rice and cook when they get tender then add spinach, fenugreek leaves, dill and cook for 5 minutes. Then add green coriander, green chilies, lemon juice and cook. In last add fried onion and serve.
Sindhi Daal:
Ingredients: Split green gram 1 cup Tomato paste 2 tbsp Onion 1 Red chili powder 1tsp Salt to taste Turmeric ½ tsp Clarified butter ½ cup Green chilies 2-3 Garlic 2 cloves Green coriander for garnish
Method: Boil lentil and keep aside. Now cook lentil with onion, tomato paste, salt, red chili powder and turmeric. When it gets thick then gives tempering of garlic and green chilies. Garnish with green coriander and serve.
