The agitated contract based laboureres at Digboi IOCL staged a semi-nude protest in front of the general office on Monday.
The laboureres demanded immediate scrapping of the Item Job from the oil industry. They further claimed that introduction of Item Job in Digboi IOCL will ruin several poor contractors and their families.
