After the dramatic wee hour developments at Mumbai Raj Bhawan, NCP leader Sharad Pawar on Saturday said Ajit Pawar's decision to support the BJP to form the Maharashtra government was his personal decision and not that of the Nationalist Congress Party. Sharad Pawar tweeted about his nephew after a stunning twist in Maharashtra politics in which Devendra Fadnavis of the BJP took oath as the Chief Minister of the state and Ajit Pawar as his deputy.

महाराष्ट्र की राजनीति में शनिवार सुबह वो हुआ, जिसकी शायद किसी ने कल्पना भी ना की हो. रातोंरात आए भूचाल में बीजेपी ने एनसीपी के नेता और शरद पवार के भतीजे अजित पवार के साथ मिलकर सरकार बना ली। इस घटनाक्रम ने ना सिर्फ राजनीतिक पंडितों को झुठला दिया है, बल्कि शिवसेना और कांग्रेस को भी जोरदार झटका लगा है। जिस तेजी से राज्य में ये घटनाक्रम घटा उससे इन दोनों राजनीतिक दलों को कुछ समझने का मौका तक नहीं मिला।
