Prince Andrew to Step Down From
Public Duties for the ‘Foreseeable Future’.
On Nov. 20, British royal family member Prince Andrew
announced his decision to step down from public duties. .
Andrew, who has been widely criticized for his
past relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, said it
has caused a “major disruption” to his work. .
It has become clear to me over the last few days that the circumstances relating to my former association with Jeffrey Epstein has become a major disruption to my family’s work and the valuable work going on in the many organizations and charities that I am proud to support, Prince Andrew, via CNN.
However, reports in the U.K. tell a different story, with an
unnamed source saying Andrew was actually “banned”
from royal duties by his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
It was a devastating moment for both of
them. His reputation is in tatters … It is
unlikely he will ever perform royal duties
again. He is disgraced, Source, to ‘The Sun’.
It is reported that Prince Andrew will now only
appear at major events involving the royal family,
such as during the annual Trooping of the Color. .
This is not about personalities but about
safeguarding the future of the institution of
the monarchy itself … It is very sad. Obviously,
both the Queen and [Prince Charles] love
Andrew … but the health of the monarchy
is too important to risk, Source, to ‘The Sun’
