राजस्थान के झुंनझुनू जिले के रहने वाले पूर्व फौजी दशरथ सिंह ने शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में एक बड़ा कीर्तिमान रचा है. दशरथ सिंह का नाम गिनीज बुक में दुनिया के सबसे पढ़े लिखे व्यक्ति के रूप में दर्ज किया गया है. दशरथ सिंह शेखावत ने फौज में रहते हुए भी पढ़ाई जारी रखी और आए दिन नई डिग्री लेते रहे। आज की तारीख में दशरथ के पास एक-दो नहीं बल्कि 51 डिग्री, डिप्लोमा और शैक्षणिक प्रमाण पत्र हैं। डॉ दशरथ सिंह बताते हैं कि भूमि सुधार विषय पर पीएचडी करने के साथ साथ 15 विषयों में मास्टर्स, आठ में स्नातक, विधि से संबंधित 11 और सेना से संबंधित आठ विषयों में डिग्री, डिप्लोमा और सर्टिफिकेट प्राप्त किए हैं।
