To mark the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, American artist Patrick Shearn is completing a 150-metre-long installation composed of 100,000 streamers, on which residents of Germany have written 30,000 messages. The artwork, like a multicoloured wave, will float in front of the Brandenburg Gate and will be open to the public from Monday.
