N. Korea, U.S. to meet for working-level talks later this week

This just in... North Korea and the United States will resume their nuclear negotiations this week.
Pyeongyang's Vice Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui issued a statement just about an hour ago... saying North and the U.S. will hold working-level negotiations this Saturday... following a preliminary contact on Friday.
Choe said the North is ready for the talks... and expects some positive developments.
Seoul's Presidential Office reacted soon after the statement.
It welcomed the talks and said it hopes some practical progress is made soon... in achieving complete denuclearization and lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula.
