A Constitution Bench headed by Justice NV Raman will begin hearing on petitions challenging the disqualification of most of the provisions of Article 370. In fact, Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi had referred all the cases related to allegations of human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir to a bench headed by Justice Raman. Justice Gogoi said that the bench headed by him is already busy with the Ram temple-Babri Masjid case in Ayodhya.

जस्टिस एन वी रमण की अध्यक्षता वाली संविधान पीठ अनुच्छेद 370 के अधिकांश प्रावधानों को निष्क्रिय करने को चुनौती देने वाली याचिकाओं पर मंगलवार से सुनवाई शुरू करेगी। दरअसल, चीफ जस्टिस रंजन गोगोई ने जम्मू-कश्मीर में मानवाधिकारों के उल्लंघन के आरोपों से जुड़े सभी मामले को जस्टिस रमण की अध्यक्षता वाली पीठ को भेज दिया था। जस्टिस गोगोई ने कहा कि उनकी अध्यक्षता वाली बेंच अयोध्या के राम मंदिर-बाबरी मस्जिद मामले में पहले से व्यस्त है।
