Nissan Korea to close some dealerships in response to boycott
  • 5 years ago
Because of the boycott of Japan, Nissan Korea is going to close some of its dealerships, having seen sales drop last month by a whopping 87 percent on year.
Nissan has 20 dealerships in Korea.
According to a company official, the number to be closed will be decided after discussions with the dealers.
Although Nissan is having a tough time in the Korean market, the official said it's going to stay in the country because it's strategically important.
