Police waiting for instructions from AGC on Adib case

The police is waiting for further instructions from the Attorney-General Chambers on their investigation into the death of firefighter Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim.
Bukit Aman CID D5 (Prosecution and Legal Division) principal assistant director Mior Faridalatrash Wahid said the investigations were never closed and investigations are still ongoing under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
On Friday Coroner Rofiah Mohamad delivered her verdict that firefighter Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim's death was a result of criminal act.
She said the court now leaves it to the Attorney-General and police to carry out investigations and to press charges.
