A North Korean diplomat has called on the United States to take bold action to abide by the joint declaration signed at last year's Singapore Summit.
The North's counsellor to the United Nations,... Ri Ki-ho give a keynote speech on Saturday at the Global Peace Forum on Korea at Columbia University in New York.
Ri said progress on dialogue between the two sides depends on Washington's actions,... which he said should be "bold" and "sincere".
He added that Pyeongyang has already shown its willingness to fulfill the joint statement... by stopping its nuclear tests,... shutting down the Punggye-ri nuclear site and returning the remains of U.S. soldiers.
