A suspected case of African swine fever at a pig farm in Yangju, Gyeonggi-do Province on Friday,... has been confirmed negative. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs said on Saturday that it was a false alarm. Two other suspected cases were also found to be negative. So far, South Korea has confirmed nine cases of African swine fever. They are concentrated in the northern areas of Gyeonggi-do Province and Incheon. Authorities are still working to identify exactly how the disease entered South Korea.
