Bukit Aman foils terrorist plot against 'politicians and non-Muslims'

Police have detained 16 individuals for suspected links with terrorist organisations, including the Islamic State (IS).

Bukit Aman Special Branch Counter-Terrorism Division (E8) principal assistant director Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said the suspects comprised 12 Indonesians, three locals and one Indian national.

Ayob also revealed that one of those captured, a Malaysian, was plotting an attack against politicians and non-Muslims.
