S. Korea says Japan has responded to its request on WTO complaint

Japan agreed to discuss South Korea's complaint filed to the WTO regarding Tokyo's export curbs against Seoul.
The complaint was submitted nine days ago... and the two sides have 60 days to reach an agreement.
If they don't, Seoul can then request a WTO panel ruling.
South Korea claims Japan's export curbs are politically motivated and discriminatory,... while Tokyo says they are aimed at strengthening its export controls.
Analysts believe it's unlikely they'll overcome their differences and that a WTO panel ruling may be inevitable.
