Safety First: Safety Training in New Zealand
  • 5 years ago
Safety is the number one priority here at SailGP, and when boats hit the speeds ours do (50 knots) there are inherent risks. To ensure that our athletes know how to react in any situation, SailGP has enlisted the help of Julien Cressant, a former America’s Cup sailor and safety expert. Cressant ran two courses for SailGP teams even before they had a chance to get on board the F50: one in Nice, France and one in Marsden Point, New Zealand (shown here).
