Burns road ki special karahi:

Ingredients

Chicken 1 kg
Oil 1 cup
Tomatoes cut into quarters 6
Salt 1 ½ tsp
Chili powder 2 ½ tsp
Green chilies whole (give cuts)10
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Ginger julienne 2 tsp
Yogurt 1 cup
Black pepper crushed 1 tbsp
coriander leaves chopped ½ cup

Method

Heat oil, add chicken, 1 cup water with salt, chili powder, tomatoes, cover and cook for about 10 mins, remove peel from tomatoes, cover and cook till chicken tender, add green chilies, coriander powder, ginger julienne, cook for another 5 mins, add yogurt, mix, when meat gets cooked and dry, little gravy is left add black pepper, green coriander, cook till oil comes on top, remove.

Reshmi handi:

Ingredients

Boneless chicken cubes ½ kg
Oil ½ cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Onion cut in thick slices 1
Capsicum 1 julienne
Salt 1 tsp
Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
Allspice ½ tsp
Yogurt 2tbsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Cream 1 packet
Chicken powder 1 tbsp
Mozzarella cheese ½ cup
Milk ½ cup
Ginger julienne 2 tbsp
Green chilies 4 julienne

Method

Heat oil, add onion fry till soft, add ginger garlic paste, salt, black pepper, chicken powder, all the seasonings, add chicken, cover and cook till chicken done, then add milk, cream, allspice, butter, cheese, cover and cook for 5 mins, lastly add ginger julienne, green chilies, serve with nan.


Apple crumb cake

Ingredients
Apples diced peeled 1 ½ cup
Oil ¾ cup
Sugar ½ cup
Brown sugar ¼ cup
Eggs large lightly beaten 2
Vanilla essence 1 ½ tsp
Milk ½ cup
Flour 1 ¼ cup
Baking powder ¾ tsp
Baking soda ¾ tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Ingredients for crumb topping
Flour 1 cup
Brown sugar ¾ cup
Granulated sugar 2 tbsp
Cinnamon powder 1 tsp
Melted butter 6 tbsp
Ingredients for vanilla glaze
Icing sugar ½ cup
Milk 2 tsp
Vanilla essence ¼ tsp
Cream as required
Method
Pre-heat oven to 180 d, lightly grease and flour a 9 inch pan, combine oil and both the sugars in a large bowl, stir well until mixed, add eggs and vanilla, mix well, add in milk. In another bowl mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, using a spatula fold in dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix until just combined, do not over mix, fold in apple pieces, pour batter evenly into prepared well-greased pan, keep aside .Prepare your crumb mixture In a bowl add flour, both the sugars and cinnamon, pour the melted butter using your finger
