MANILA, Philippines – After suffering a back injury that put him out of the World Cup, Brazilian football star Neymar will spend the rest of the tournament at home. The striker, who was airlifted from training camp, is expected to fully recover from his injuries in about 40 or 45 days. Neymar was kneed in the back by a Colombian player in the dying minutes of Brazil’s 2-1 victory over the Cafetors. The win secured the host nation’s spot in the semi-finals, but they will have to face Germany without their star player. -- News Now, ANC, July 6, 2014.
