MANILA - Authorities raided a so-called marijuana tiangge in Caloocan Thursday night. Members of the Northern Police District's special operations unit recovered marijuana and shabu as well as ammunition, after storming a home in Purok 1 in Kiko Camarin. Eight members of the Arabia family were arrested. The Arabia couple admitted selling marijuana but denied students were among their customers. "Nawalan kasi ng trabaho yan, tapos may nag-alok sa amin na magbenta nito...Gamot naman kasi yan sa hika," said suspect Rosalie Arabia. The suspects face charges under the Dangerous Drugs Act and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition. Mornings@ANC, June 6, 2014
