The Department of Foreign Affairs says Malaysia has cleared the Filipina worker abducted with a Chinese tourist in Sabah of any involvement in the kidnapping plot. Marcy Dayawan, a receptionist at Singamata Resorts, was snatched along with Chinese national Gao Hua Yun by armed men on April 2. After her rescue, she was turned over to officials of the Philippine embassy in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday evening. She said she was given the choice to remain in the Philippines, but decided to return to Malaysia to clear her name. Malaysian authorities say they do not consider her as an accomplice to the plot. She is expected to return to the Philippines shortly. Mornings@ANC, June 3, 2014
