LRT 1, 2 to launch 'skip trains'

MANILA - LRT 1 and 2 will begin implementing a "skip train scheme" this month similar to the MRT's express train scheme in which trains only stop at designated stations. The LRT management said it expects a 20 percent increase in passengers now that classes have resumed. LRT 1 and 2 are also looking to add more trains during rush hour.
