A factory in the Pakistani City of Silakot landed the contract the make World Cup balls, but has to set up production in just 33 days. The Forward Sports company has supplied soccer balls for the Bundesliga, French League and the Champions League in the past. The model for this tournament is called “brazuca” and features multi-colored panel bonded to the pall, designed to help the ball remain perfectly round during the game. About 3,000 balls will be used during the month-long tournament in Brazil. -- Mornings @ ANC, May 21, 2014.
