S. Korea - Malaysia to hold 3rd FTA negotiation

South Korea and Malaysia will be holding their third round of FTA talks in Seoul this Wednesday through Friday.
South Korea's trade ministry announced today that senior offical Kim Young-man will meet his Malaysian counterpart Sumathi Balakrishnan along with their respective delegations.
The two sides are likely to discuss ways to foster free markets and economic cooperation... and establish rules on customs and origin indications.
Malaysia is one of South Korea's major trading partners in Southeast Asia,... with 19-point-two billion dollars in trade volume last year.
The push for an FTA is in line with president Moon's New Southern Policy, which aims to boost cooperation with the ASEAN bloc.
