MANILA – A couple was arrested after allegedly using their own child in an illegal drug transaction in San Juan City. Police said the suspects were arrested after they handed out the suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) - tucked inside their three-month-old baby's clothes - to an undercover agent in Barangay West Crame. The suspects admitted to being drug pushers, but they denied using their own child in the illegal activity. Police recovered two sachets of suspected shabu and bank deposit slips from the suspects. The suspects are facing illegal drug trade and child abuse charges. The infant is now in the custody of social workers. – report from Kori Quintos, ABS-CBN News
