Transportation Secretary Jun Abaya is willing to take up Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada's suggestion to open up streets within the Philippine Port Authority area to accommodate more trucks for parking. But Abaya points out the streets have limited space, especially with more than a thousand trucks moving goods in and out of the PPA daily. Abaya adds the DOTC is also trying to get shippers and shipping lines to direct their cargo to the Batangas and Subic ports. Mornings@ANC, February 27, 2014
