Ejay speaks up on rumored romance with Sunshine

MANILA - Actor Ejay Falcon has addressed rumors romantically linking him to actress Sunshine Cruz, his co-star in the defunct afternoon soap "Dugong Buhay." In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Falcon said that there is no truth to the said issue. "Sa Viber meron 'yung group chat. Kasi mayroon kaming group chat sa Viber yung 'Dugong Buhay,' lahat ng cast, ng staff nandoon. [Sabi niya] 'Anak ano ba ito, nachichismis tayo?' Saka nag-tweet siya. 'Ano, bakit sa anak ko nachi-chismis ako' gumaganoon siya," said Falcon, who noted that Cruz' role in "Dugong Buhay" is the mother of his character. While the actor admitted that they always hang out as a group, he stressed that he and Cruz are only friends. "Si Ms. Shine (Cruz) naman 'di naman natin makakaila na sobrang maganda at ang bata ng mukha niya. Nahihiya ako sa kanya, sa pamilya niya kasi ang dami-dami nang pinagdadaanan niya ngayon," said Falcon, referring to Cruz's separation with estranged husband Cesar Montano.
