PNP warns vs stolen wireless broadband sold cheap

MANILA - The Philippine National Police on Thursday warned the public against buying cheap wireless broadband being sold online, which might be used to steal vital information of users. The PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group said hackers usually steal the wireless broadband and sell them cheap online. Once the broadband is used, the hackers can also steal data from a person's computer or device. On Wednesday, the PNP arrested a certain Alvin Araneta for selling stolen wireless broadband.
