Man jumps off bridge during Nazarene procession

MANILA – A man jumped off the Quezon Bridge in Quiapo, Manila on Thursday amid the ongoing procession of the image of the Black Nazarene. The unidentified man was reported to be sniffing solvent before jumping off the bridge, catching the attention of the devotees attending the annual procession. After plunging into Pasig River, the man emerged from the water and was rescued by people standing on the riverbank in nearby Quinta Market.
