DOH to send more medical teams to Yolanda-hit areas

The Department of Health (DOH) is sending more medical teams in provinces hit by typhoon "Yolanda." DOH Assistant Secretary Eric Tayag said they will also send additional medical tents in hard-hit areas such as Tacloban, Leyte and Samar. Tayag said additional medicine, hospital supplies and clean water will be sent to the typhoon-hit areas. Meanwhile, Tayag urged residents in affected areas to stay calm. He also asked them to be patient as the DOH is already working on speeding up medical response in all affected provinces. ANC Dateline Philippines, November 12, 2013
