MANILA – The historical Loboc Church in Bohol collapsed after a magnitude 7.2 earthquake hit the province on Tuesday morning. In an interview with “Mornings@ANC,” Japan Bureau Chief of Blouin Artinfo Robert Michael Poole said he personally felt the strong quake as he was coming up to Loboc when the incident happened. Aside from the historical landmark, Poole said the houses along the coastal roads were also damaged as well as the roads leading to the church. Poole said it was fortunate that nobody was inside the Loboc Church when it collapsed. He said people are now staying in tents built in front of the damaged building.
