MANILA, Philippines – Coach Bo Perasol has apologized to the Ateneo community and top patron Manny V. Pangilinan for his “un-Atenean-like” actions following the Blue Eagles’ loss to La Salle last Sunday. Perasol said the better part of him should have avoided the confrontation and acknowledged that his actions put the Ateneo in a bad light. Perasol was called for a technical foul with around a minute to go when he confronted the referee after a perceived wrong call. La Salle would go on to win, 66-64, on a Jeron Teng jumper. Following the game, Perasol had to be restrained by his assistants and Araneta bouncers from going after a La Salle alumnus identified as JJ Atayde. -- Mornings @ ANC, September 3, 2013
