The director of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency has expressed serious concerns about missile proliferation, …labeling North Korea as a potential enemy.
Vice Admiral Jon Hill, in a report earlier this month, pointed to Russia, China, Iran and North Korea and their missile programs.
He said North Korea has been selling missile-related items to numerous countries, calling the regime a "significant proliferation threat."
Admiral Hill stressed the need to sustain and expand the U.S. missile defense system in order to stay ahead of offensive capabilities.
According to the Middlebury Institute's Center for Nonproliferation Studies, North Korea has conducted 1-hundred-28 missile tests since 1984, …97 of which were carried out under Kim Jong-un.
