Reserve Bank of India decided to transfer a sum of Rs 1.76 lakh crore rupees to Modi government. The surplus transfer was finalized with the recommendations of the Bimal Jalan committee. RBI’s central board accepted all the recommendations of the committee. which is likely to address the precarious fiscal situation of the government to a great extent.

रिज़र्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया यानी RBI ने अपने डिविडेंड और सरप्लस रिजर्व फंड से 1.76 लाख करोड़ रुपये मोदी सरकार को देने के फैसले को मूंज़ूरी दे दी है। रिजर्व बैंक ने बिमल जालान कमेटी की सिफारिशों को मानते हुए हुए ये बड़ा कदम उठाया है। इससे मोदी सरकार को Fiscal deficit यानी राजकोषीय घाटा बढ़ाए बिना सुस्त पड़ती देश की इकोनॉमी को नई रफ़्तार देने में मदद मिलेगी। दावा ये भी किया जा रहा है कि इससे सरकार को सरकारी वित्तीय संस्थानों की नाज़ुक हालत को ठीक करने में मदद मिलेगी।
