Seventeen-year-old Komalika Bari’s abilities to introspect and learn from her mistakes have made her not only a leading archer of the country, but also the third Indian to claim a world title. Komalika, who was 15th after the ranking round, got a bye and beat five opponents including two Koreans and a Japanese to win the title in the world youth archery championships in Madrid on Sunday.
भारतीय तीरंदाज कोमालिका बारी ने रविवार विश्व युवा तीरंदाजी चैंपियनशिप के रिकर्व कैडेट वर्ग के एक तरफा फाइनल में जापान की उच्च रैंकिंग वाली सोनोदा वाका को हराकर स्वर्ण पदक हासिल किया। जमशेदपुर की टाटा तीरंदाजी अकादमी की 17 साल की खिलाड़ी कोमालिका अंडर-18 वर्ग में विश्व चैम्पियन बनने वाली भारत की दूसरी तीरंदाज बनीं। उनसे पहले दीपिका कुमारी ने 2009 में यह खिताब जीता था।
