Canada judge releases video of Huawei’s Meng Wanzhou being searched at airport before arrest

On August 20, 2019, the Supreme Court of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, ordered the release of five videos shot at Vancouver International Airport that reveal the inspection of Chinese tech giant Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou before her arrest on December 1, 2018. Meng was arrested at the Canadian airport at the request of the US government. The US is seeking her extradition for an alleged breach of trade sanctions against Iran by Huawei.
