A man travelling on the top of a local train accidentally touched the overhead wire of 25 kV and immediately died due to electrocution. In the ensuing moments, passengers who heard the blast noise concluded that it was a bomb blast and jumped on the adjacent track.
Luckily, when the panicked commuters jumped on the track, there was no train coming on those tracks. A major disaster was averted but only by chance.
