As Samajwadi Party's power drama ensues in UP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the other hand, addressed a 'Parivartan Maharally' in Bundelkhand's Mahoba region. He stressed on breaking the cycle of electing SP-BSP governments if the people wish to see the state as "Uttam Pradesh" in the next 10 years.
"The power keeps shifting, and in this game, this land never reached its potential. You have faced enough," Modi told the crowd, adding that they need to escape the "SP-BSP trap".

Taking a dig at the ongoing tussle within the SP, he stressed on the BJP's aim to "save" the state.
Attacking the SP and the BSP, which have been in power in the state alternatively, Modi said the parties target each other publicly but were friends behind the curtains.
“The BSP is attacking the SP for corruption but when the BSP was in power, did they act against the SP, did they send their people to jail, did the BSP do any welfare work? No. Same is for the SP. They will never act against each other," Modi said. Read the full story here.
