Rains and floods continue to wreak havoc in many parts of India including Uttarakhand. Half of India is submerged and there is a flood of water from the mountains to the plains. Due to rain the mountains are cracking and landslides are occurring. In Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, there was torrential rain overnight. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued forecast of torrential rain in many parts of Uttarkashi, Tehri, Pauri, Rudraprayag and Kumaon even today.
उत्तराखंड समेत हिंदुस्तान के कई हिस्सों में बारिश और बाढ़ का कहर जारी है. आधा हिंदुस्तान डूबा हुआ है और पहाड़ से लेकर मैदान तक जल प्रलय देखने को मिल रही है. बारिश के चलते पहाड़ दरक रहे हैं और भूस्खलन हो रहा है. उत्तराखंड के चमोली जिले में रातभर मूसलाधार बारिश हुई. इसके साथ ही मौसम विभाग ने उत्तरकाशी, टिहरी, पौड़ी, रुद्रप्रयाग और कुमाऊं के कई हिस्सों में आज भी मूसलाधार बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया गया है.
