he 2006 West 49 Canadian Open presented by Xbox visited Hamiltons Copps Coliseum for the first time September 29-October 1, and more than 16,050 fans, along with 80,000 fans at home watching, helped make it the most successful year in the events five-year history. Canadian Pierre Luc Gagnon took home top prize in the KD Quarter Pipe Best Trick competition on Sunday afternoon, beating out Buster Halterman and upcoming star Rob Lorifice. Last years champion Greg Lutzka won the Billabong Street Course competition with his great use of every feature on the Spinworks designed course. Rounding out third was Dennis Busentitz from CA who has been rising up the World Cup rankings with a recent good finish at Slam City Jam. Catch the full episode at www.xbb.tv
