Kim, Putin exchange greetings on Korea's Liberation Day

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and Russian President Vladimir Putin exchanged greetings on Thursday to mark Korea's Liberation Day.
According to the North's official Korean Central News Agency, they expressed a desire to further deepen bilateral ties based on the agreement reached during their summit in April.
Kim highlighted the two sides' bond forged while fighting for Korea's liberation.
He also emphasized that bilateral relations have entered "a new high stage" and would steadily expand in several fields.
Putin reportedly said the Vladivostok summit "clearly proves that Pyeongyang and Moscow's ties are of a friendly and constructive character.
