MANILA, Philippines – San Francisco ace Tim Lincecum threw his first career no-hitter by striking out a season-best 13 batters as the Giants routed the San Diego Padres 9-0. The 29-year-old part-Filipino improved to five wins and nine losses on the season as he tossed the 15th no-hitter in Giants’ history. A two-time Cy Young winner, Lincecum tossed a career high 149 pitches on his way to becoming the second MLB pitcher to throw a no-hitter this year. -- Mornings @ ANC, July 15, 2013
